Dive Into The Blue

Ever since my first encounter with a monochrome image by the artist Yves Klein I have been completely fascinated with the colour blue - especially the deep ultramarine tone patented by the artist as IKB in 1957.

This artwork is an amaryllis flower, originally shot in white. Transformed into a deep ultramarine blue, the flower appears to hover against a black background.
